APPEX Global 2016

Information for Exhibitors

Here you will find infromation for the exhibition at APPEX Global 2016 on the 1st-3rd March.

The deadline for the order forms is 16th February, so make sure to order everything you will need for the event in time!

Most exhibitor forms are now all online and the Business Design Centre's system is automated. This means that if you exhibited previously at the Business Design Centre, the system should already have your details on record, just click on the link below and enter your password.

As an exhibitor you will be able to register and login to order all electrics, lighting, shell scheme extras, internet, water and waste and complete your health and safety and risk assessment forms. (Catering and additional furniture & equipment can be ordered seperately from the suppliers provided in the exhibitor's manual.)

If you have not previously registered with the BDC exhibitor system, start by going to and registering. Once you have registered the system will ask you to complete the Nameboard form and a Risk Assessment (please note that Space Only stands should submit detailed RAMS and also the BDC CDM Site Declaration).

Exhibitor Drinks Reception - Order Your Drinks:

Don’t forget the Exhibitor’s Reception will be held at the end of the first day of the conference (Tuesday 3rd March) at 17:30 in the exhibition area. This is designed as a networking opportunity where exhibitors are welcome to order drinks and snacks to be served from their booth, to invite increased traffic to their booth.

*Please note that all catering must be ordered from the Good Eating Company, which is the venue’s exclusive catering supplier, however, if you would like to order any food or drinks items which are not listed in the catering order form, or have any special requests or requirements, please also contact Jean at Good Eating Company.

The Sponsored Cocktail Reception is on the second day of the conference (Wednesday 4th March) where drinks and canapés are provided, however exhibitors are also welcome to order drinks for their booth if they wish.

Shell Scheme Panel Dimensions:

If you have ordered a schell scheme booth package, the dimensions for the face of each panel (for your booth graphics):
Height: 2340mm (inside of the poles)
Width: 950mm (inside of the poles)

The overall size of panels when fitted with poles and beams is 2500mm high x 990mm wide. The poles are 40mm in diameter projecting forward 18mm.

A detailed drawing with dimensions can be found in the exhibitors manual.

A 2m x 3m booth is made up of a maximum of 3 panels along the back, and 2 on each side (unless you have an open side) = 7 panels total.

Build Up

Exhibitor move in and build up is scheduled on Monday 29th February from 09:00 until 17:30. For shell scheme package exhibitors, it is advised to arrive in the afternoon for setting up your booth, to allow time for the shell schemes to be built.

What Do I Need To Do?

1. All exhibitors- Log in and register on the BDC's online exhibitor system ( and complete your Fasica Panel name details, and Risk Assessment form by the 16th February.
2. Optional, reccommended- Order your drinks for the Exhibitor's Reception on the 1st March by the 16th February.
3. Space-only exhibitors - order your electrics and lighting, complete the BDC CDM Site Declaration, and submit your stand plans by 16th February!

As of the 6th April 2015 the new CDM (Construction, Design and Management) Regulations came into force and is being enforced within the exhibition sector. This means that all the exhibition build areas onsite will be classified as an official construction site. Also each space only stand within the exhibition is also classified as a CDM site in its own right when building work is taking place.

If you are a space-only exhibitor or are building any structure or part of your stand that is not included in the shell scheme package you have purchased from AAPG please ensure you have read the CDM resource pack which outlines your responsibility and what is required from you and anyone working on your stand during the build-up.

Please also ensure you have read the Business Design Centre Site Rules and regulations.

All Space Only Exhibitors or stand contractors MUST sign and return the BDC CDM Site Declaration (pages 20-21) prior to arrival on site, confirming acknowledgement of the BDC site rules and that they adhere to the regulations.
